Say what you will regarding the "conspiracy" theories, but the facts are that the greatest parallel is that in 1941 we were attacked by the Japanese and went to war against Hitler, on 9/11 we were attacked by Saudis and went to war against Saddam. My relatives fought in the pacific using WWI rifles. FDR wanted so badly to save his blue blood elite friends in europe he neglected the Japanese war until after the war in europe was won. If FDR did not have previous knowledge of the attack then he is the luckiest man ever.
